1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern your use of Leporello, including the website and MCP endpoint. They apply to all users, whether consumers or businesses.

2. Service description

Leporello is a free aggregator of publicly available opera and classical music event schedules. It displays event data scraped from venue websites and provides this data through a web interface and an MCP endpoint. The service does not require an account and is provided free of charge.

3. No accounts

Leporello does not offer user accounts, authentication, or any form of login. There is no user-generated content.

4. Consumers and statutory rights

If you are a consumer, any mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. These Terms do not by themselves waive any mandatory consumer rights.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to violate applicable law or interfere with the availability or security of the service.

6. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an as-available basis without guaranteed uptime. We may modify or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or technical reasons.

7. Content and intellectual property

Leporello and its branding remain the property of their respective owners. All event data belongs to the respective venues and is displayed for informational purposes only.

Event information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. We do not guarantee the correctness of any displayed data. Always verify details with the venue directly.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, and injury to life, limb, or health, as well as wherever liability cannot be excluded by law.

For slight negligence, we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations and only for foreseeable damage typical for the contract.

9. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. For consumers, the courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction. For all other users, the courts of Stuttgart, Germany have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
